A first collection for Fall-Winter 2012/2013—which is expected to continue over several seasons—will draw inspiration from "the word of cycling and swimming associated with 1990s street wear.”
Consisting of about a hundred pieces (both clothing and footwear), the capsule will be available in selected Adidas Originals and Opening Ceremony stores in July (at price points ranging from about 135 to 660 USD).
The New York multi-brand duo, Opening Ceremony, which offers a selection of designers as sophisticated as Proenza Schouler and Rodarte as well as its own label, has thus been on a roll. In fact Humberto Leon and Carol Lim have already been selected last July by Kenzo to provide art direction.
